Guest commentary
Guest commentary is commissioned by the editor. A contribution may examine a legal question, challenge an assumption in AI governance, or explain a problem encountered in practice. The argument should identify its sources, distinguish experience from general claims, and address the strongest objection.
Guest work carries the contributor's name, a short biography, relevant affiliations and interests, and an account of material AI assistance. The author's views are their own. A contributor's affiliation does not imply that their employer endorses the piece.
From commission to publication
The editor and contributor agree on the question, scope, source needs, and terms before drafting. Editorial review checks the factual basis, the reasoning, and the distinction between what is established and what remains uncertain. The contributor reviews the edited text before publication.
Legal analysis follows the publication's verification and review standards. Questions that cannot be resolved remain visible to the editor and author; they are not removed to make a draft appear finished.
